State Representative

Jeanine Notter

Represents Out-of-State Polluting Interests

Not Our Interests

Ignoring pollution is not a Conservative value.

Tricked by the fossil fuel industry's efforts to maximize its profits at our expense, this is Merrimack's Representative Jeanine Notter unwittingly offering polluter industry propaganda to the Merrimack Town Council.

"The Heartland Institute sent me a whole box."

Why does she hand out polluter industry pamphlets rather than copies of the NH 2022 Climate Assessment Report by our state's official climate scientist?  Learn more about out-of-state polluter industry influence in our State Legislature...

Not a scientist.  Rep. Notter offering polluter propaganda to the Merrimack Town Council.

Representative Notter has been gifted travel, lodging, and food worth over $24,000 since 2018 by Koch Network fossil fuel industry-funded front groups including Heartland Institute, ALEC, Americans for Prosperity, and Young Americans for Liberty.  She gets reimbursed by these groups for taking trips to their events around the country where they trick her into ignoring pollution from fossil fuels by misinforming her about science, economics, and solutions.

She is given fossil fuel industry pamphlets, talking points, and out-of-state polluter bills that she brings to the NH State Legislature. Then, as an NH House GOP leader, she tells GOP Representatives to vote against bills that citizens want (e.g. 2025 HB106 and HB306) and to vote for bills that benefit out-of-state polluters (e.g. 2025 HCR1).  She sits on the House Science, Technology, and Energy Committee so other Republican Legislators trust her judgement. Their trust is misplaced.

The fossil fuel industry claims to take climate change from its pollution seriously and says it supports measures to address it, but also funds the promotion of doubt and political manipulation to delay solutions.  This two-faced game of deception was exposed long ago by investigative journalists and academic researchers.  Representative Notter remains tricked by the bad-actor side of the game.  See the pages on this site for more information:
